This is part of our Rough Around the Edges Series, where I purposely left a lot of file marks on the metal to give it a raw finish, emphasizing the beauty of handcrafted things.
Material & Technique:
- Originally carved out of wax by Janet, then cast in sterling silver
- These production pieces have been cast in sterling silver in New York City
- All pendants have been hand filed, sanded, and finished by Janet in her NYC studio
- Necklace soldered to order by Janet, out of sterling silver flat wire drawn cable chain and sterling lobster claw clasp
Select your Metal Finish: there are 3 metal finishes, which have their own distinct look:
- Regular White/Glossy Finish
- Oxidized (blackened)/Glossy Finish (like a gunmetal gray, glossy finish)
- Oxidized (blackened)/Satin Finish (our darkest finish, which has a very industrial look)
