Shipping and Returns FAQ
JanetJewelry.com has been around since 1997. We know from experience that jewelry buying is a very personal experience. Good jewelry should make you feel fabulous, and when you find that perfect design for you in our collection (let the jewelry speak to you!), we want to ensure a good fit so that you can enjoy it and it becomes a part of you!
If you purchased a JanetJewelry and you need a size exchange, please email me within 7 days of receiving the item(s) and we can do one size adjustment per piece for you, free of charge.
If you are dissatisfied with a particular stone or pearl (most genuine stones/pearls have their own unique beauty, and we hand select the best stones for our pieces), please email me within 7 days of receiving the item. We will work with you--I can change the stone for you, but please do remember that these are natural materials. No two stones/pearls are exactly the same, and I do my best to match them (if they are a pair), and I select the photos that best represent the piece (if it is a production piece).
I stand behind my jewelry 100%! You may return most new items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (minus the S&H fee, if applicable). We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). It must be shipped in its original condition, in its original packaging.
Custom orders are non-refundable and non-exchangeable except for spelling correction (if the mistake is on our part). Shipping and handling fees, if applicable, are non-refundable.
You should expect to receive your refund within three weeks of giving your package to the return shipper; however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (1 to 3 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). We can only make refunds to the original credit card holder only.
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
We can ship to virtually any address in the world! For all domestic USA orders, we ship all our jewelry via the USPS Priority Mail, which usually takes approximately 2-3 days from the time at which it leaves our studio. We also provide USPS Express Mail option (overnight to *most* cities, 2nd day to some destinations) but please note, all USPS timeframes are from the time it leaves our studio. All our jewelry pieces are handcrafted and packed individually by hand, so depending on the item(s) ordered, it *may* not leave our studio on the same day of purchase.
I send all International Orders via the USPS Global Priority Mail with Insurance, as this is the only way to send precious metals overseas. Please note that some products, like our Liquid Jewelry Cleaners, cannot be shipped to international destinations. Also, there are a few countries to which I cannot send packages via Global Priority--to check a country in question, please check out the United States Postal Service website:http://www.usps.com.
Please note: we will ONLY ship international packages if the SHIPPING and BILLING names and addresses are the same. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
