Why I Love Hawaii!
Of course there are MANY reasons why I love to go home, but here are a few things!

Casual Family Dinners
The family at Kurikuri Sushi, a new conveyer belt sushi restaurant that my mom's friend opened out in Pearl City.

My sister-in-law Masumi, my brother Stan, and their newborn, Micah. I accidently was there for the birth....

The Bead Gallery Honolulu
The best bead shop in the world, and my very good friend and mentor, Jamie, the owner of The Bead Gallery.

Hoku
The family dog of 13 years!

Hoku means "star" in Hawaiian, and it's apparently the most common name for dogs in Hawaii....

He's a wild dog from the mounains of Waimanalo, and it took 3 years for my mom to train him.

Doing everyday stuff with my family
My sister Lil, her baby, Drew, Merv and I color each other's hair.

Drew's hair is au naturale. he's famous about town for always having naturally spiked hair, even in the pool.

The kick back Hawaiian Style
Where else can you get a pedicure in a room by yourself, overlooking Waikiki Beach? This is my favorite pedicure spot in the world, at Jujube in the New Otani Hotel, and it's only $35!

The Ocean
I'm a pisces, and I love being close to the water. This is off the Laie Coast on the north side of Oahu.

The Mountains
The Pali Cliffs. There's something about the cliffs on the northeastern side of Oahu that I love.

Sherwood Forest
My favorite beach in the world, and it's never crowded.

Golfing by the Beach
Waialae Country Club is about 5 minutes from my parent's house, and Merv and I got married right off the 9th hole, at the Kahala Mandarin.

Spam & Golf!
Hawaii is the largest consumer of Spam after Guam, and they sell Spam Musubi, even at the most chi-chi of country clubs! The house in the background is apparently the "guest house" of Sony.

Tony Group
My brother's company, The Tony Group Autoplex. It's nice to be able to borrow a loaner! That's the new Honda Element.

Sweatshop Workers
My dad retired a few years ago, and we put him to work all the time doing random things... Here are my parents, helping me do last minute things for the trunk show!

Relaxing with Friends, poolside, with fruity drinks in hand!

Mangoes!
Merv and I picked fresh mangoes off my parent's tree in the backyard for breakfast every day. I LOVE mangoes!

Friendly Service with a Smile!
Here's the owner of Grace's, a plate lunch place. She's so nice! There's something about small Mom & Pop type places--even if it's not expensive, there's definitely a sense of pride in homemade things.

Beautiful Trees!
I hardly see trees near where I live. This is at the Pearl Country Club, where I learned to play golf.

Food, Food, and More Food!
I love to eat, and I love the variety of foods you can find in Hawaii!
