				Antique Flea Market, 26th/6thAve When I lived with my sister years ago, we used to go eat dimsum in Chinatown, then hit the antique flea markets. They're kind of pricey in NYC, but you can find some great stuff! And it's fun just to look....
				Not super vintage, just 2 seasons ago.... Super cute Anna Sui furry hat. I'm a sucker for fake furry stuff. This is my pensive, "Should I buy it? Would I really wear it?" look.
				The Happy Purchase So I haven't actually worn the hat in public yet....it still makes me laugh!
				Merv, the Porter My mom taught me well: why carry anything if you're married? Merv, with his bag of choice if he's going shopping with me. The Empire State is in the background.
				Madison Square Park Not sure why Merv took this photo, but it looks very typically New York-y. We don't have a car, so we walk a lot, use the subways for the most part, and taxis if we have to. In the streets here, you're more likely to see these yellow cabs than normal cars.
				Flatiron Building One of my most memorable images of New York when I first visited back in high school. I had never seen anything like it before. I live near it now, but it never ceases to amaze me. There's something about the attention to details in New York architecture that I can't get enough of. It inspires me that people back in the day really took pride in their craft.
