My Day, 9-11-02: Newark Airport and Beyond Merv's Motorcycle Page: Accident Page.... My husband, Merv, got in a motorcycle accident somewhere in Joshua Tree, CA, on January 15, 2004, and had to fly back to NYC for orthopaedic surgery.... He's doing okay; he just had orthopaedic surgery on his right wrist today (Jan 22). Here's his progress report. There are some icky photos, so please click at your own risk! Update: he's perfectly fine now--I'm going to put his post accident scar photos & x-rays up soon for those who want to know...
