Random "Useful" Hello Kitty Products, Part II
To justify my Hello Kitty fix, I've learned to limit myself to only "useful" Hello Kitty products and to review their practicality! Below are my latest findings....!

Hello Kitty Cherry Body Gel
A+ for the packaging! I LOVE the the look of this product! The transparent pink flip top and the transparent pink gel are so adorable, who cares about the lotion?!

It's a swirl of lotion and some kind of transparent "cherry" fragrance, which is a bit on the medicine-y side, but in a cute Hello Kitty sort of way.

The lotion itself is lightweight; not bad--makes the hands slick but not oily. I found it at Longs Drugs in Hawaii, $6.50.

Hello Kitty Book Light
I love to read in bed before going to sleep, and being an insomniac, this is perfect for not bothering the snoring husband!

it requires AA batteries, and there's a clip on the back of this--the light part is flexible, so that you can position it as you wish.

I bought this at Long Drugs in Hawaii; I think it was about $4.50?

Hello Kitty Hair Brush
I bought this for my niece Alisa.

She's already 3, and I've been buying Hello Kitty stuff for her since before she was born....

I got this at the Sanrio store in Ala Moana, I think it was $3.50? $4.50? Something like that.

Hello Kitty Old School Metal Pen
I bought several pens on this last trip, and I think this is my favorite. It's the most compact, and I like the "old school" feel of it.

I also like the size--small, thin, it's retractable, and it's made of metal, so it's the perfect pen to keep in your purse!

Hello Kitty Desk Vacuum Set
I can't remember how much this was... I bought it last year but forgot to put it up online! I think it was about $15 at the Longs Drugs Kahala.

It requires 2 AA batteries, and it's on the lightweight side in terms of desk vacuums. With the brush attachment, I can clean my keyboard, but it looks cooler than it really is practical--takes up too much space for the actual amount of work it does.

Hello Kitty Cup Noodles
i bought this at M2, an Asian grocery store on 3rd Ave & 12th St(?), $0.89 for a 2 pack.

I knew the moment I picked it up, that it was pretty much just Hello Kitty on the outside, with regular Cup Noodles on the inside, but what the hey--I love cup noodle anyway, so who cares?!

And, it says "FREE STICKERS on the INSIDE," so the non-Hello kitty Cup Noodle can be slightly forgiven.

Hello Kitty Goodie Bag
So handy! I go this at the Marukai 99¢ Store in Hawaii (best Hello Kitty buys EVER!)

It's just a Hello Kitty heavy weight plastic bag with a thick string top, but it's perfect for putting in small "omiyage" (gifts) to give away to friends.

I love packaging, and you can dress up any gift with a Hello Kitty Goodie Bag!

Hello Kitty Handkerchief
As much as Americans think they're "eco-friendly," I always wonder why they dont' carry hankies as much as they do in Japan to save paper towels.

I got this at the Marukai 99¢ Store in Hawaii.

Very handy to have in the purse, and at 99¢, it's almost disposable!

Hello Kitty Lip Desserts
These looked cute, so I had to buy them as gifts, and kept one to try out.

I wasn't sure what the heck it was, especially when I opened it and it had a squeeze top applicator. Lip Dessert? What the....?

So I pushed the top and this gooey, liquidy stuff came out, I put it on my lip, and it's like over the top lip gloss, but I must admit, it doesn't taste like anything, so I have no idea what this product is. Please tell me if you do....

Hello Kitty Ponytail Holder
My hair's getting kind of long in the back (I have a girl mullet), so I needed new ponytail holders, and voila....only $2.50 at the Sanrio shop!

I haven't used it yet, but you can't go wrong with Hello Kitty ponytail holders.... It's small enough, but not too small--gots to support the Kitty of the Hello variety!

Hello Kitty Plain Pink Pen
Not the most impressive of Hello Kitty pens, but it does the job.

I got this at the Sanrio Shop, I think it was about $4.95?

Hello Kitty Rotating Flower Pen
This one was the same price but look at the difference from the above--one step up with a cute rotating glittery flower around the Hello Kitty head!

Retractable pen, great for the purse, but I still like th smaller, metal version at the top of the page better.

Hello Kitty Bandana
I do a lot of "dirty work" when I have to sand down the sprue on the silver casts, so this one is perfect to tie on my head!

I got this at the Marukai 99¢ Store in Hawaii.

Man, I love that store! They need to open one in Manhattan....

Hello Kitty Band Aids
So handy! Everyone needs bandaid strips here and there, so why not treat yourself to some Hello Kitty bandaids to wash some of the pain away?

The thing I like most about these Hello Kitty bandaids, is that they come in Hello Kitty plastic pouches, so it's perfect to keep in the purse for emergencies.

I go the left one as a gift, an the right one at Longs Drugs Kahala.

Hello Kitty Jelly Candy
I actually didnt' try these yet, but it looked cute, and it was only 89¢, so I had to get it.

I was in Hawaii, so it's a "souvenier" kind of purchase? Justifiable? Well, only if it tastes good....

I got this one for Merv's nieces.

Merv's sisters-in-law think Hello Kitty is a good alternative to the hoochie mama trend that's being sold to kids nowdays, so of course, I got them all hooked on team Kitty!

There are 2 shades of pink lip gloss in this set, inside the Hello Kitty head, with a small plastic snap bag, perfect for Hello Kitty girls!

Hello Kitty Pill Box
So handy! I may have put this in another Hello Kitty section, but I had to put it up again because I love it!

It's sectioned off into 4 compartments, and it's small enough to keep in my purse.

I have chronic headaches, so it's perfect to have emergency Advil Liqui-gels in my purse!

I go this at the Marukai 99¢ Store in Hawaii, and it's perfect as my coffee stir at work!
